Apple iPhone 5 Vs Samsung Galaxy S 3

Apple iPhone 5 Vs Samsung Galaxy S 3

Apple iPhone 5 Vs Galaxy SIII

Since the launch of Galaxy S series by Samsung, it is deemed as the “iPhone killer”. Yeah it not only gives quite a tough competition to  Apple but also has captured it’s market. So when both the giants of the smartphone market are gonna launch their product the same year it’s quite obvious for people to make a comparison between them. The iPhone 4s launched by Apple was not a great success but the Galaxy SII was just awesome. So here are making the comparison between the two upcoming launches

Samsung Galaxy SIII Vs Apple iPhone 5 :

Samsung-Galaxy-S-III

specification of apple iphone 5 and Samsung galaxy s 3

Operating System :
The iPhone 5 is rumoured to run on the latest OS, iOS 5. The new iOS 5 has significant differences to it’s predecessor and most importantly cutting the tether to iTunes and PC in general. The flash is still missing with the Apple. All software updates will be sent wirelessly and that includes only the changes not the whole operating system.
On the other hand, the Galaxy SIII runs on latest Android OS Icecream Sandwich. Android has the flash and this is the biggest advantage over apple . It supports most of the apps from Android market which makes it even more powerful.

Processor and Memory :

Again if the rumors are to be believed the iPhone 5 will be equipped with Quad Core A6 Processor which will touch 1 GHz mark. It comes with a 1 GB installed RAM and with internal memory of 16, 32 or 64 GB.
Galaxy SIII comes with a  Quad-core 2.0GHz processorwhich is for the first time in a mobile phone. Samsung Galaxy S3 III will be loaded with a 1.5GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The memory is expandable upto 32GB using microSD card.

Display :

The Apple iPhone 5 will 4-in screen which will offer a pixel density of about 350ppi. It is rumoured that it also comes with Retina Display. Apple using some sophisticated technology to reduce the display consumption by 25% .
The Galaxy SIII is rumored to have a 5-in Super Amoeld display with a resolution of 1280 x 1024, which is of course the highest resolution display in Smartphone. . It comes with Gorilla glass and features apixel density of 319PPI .

Dimensions and Shape :

The apple iPhone 5 will have slighty smaller dimensions than the iPhone 4 and also it will be more thinner than it’s other relatives. It is also believed that it can be shipped with a curved screen.
The Galaxy SIII measurements and dimensions are a bit of mystery till now, but certainly it will be designed from plastics as rest of it’s Galaxy S relatives. There indications on the edges being round of the chasis and most probably it’s gonna be slightly thinner than it’s predecessor which is about 8.55 mm.

Camera :

According to the leaked information, the iPhone 5 will feature 10 MP camera and also Apple could equip the device with a double major shooter for stereoscopic imaging. This mobile will also have high quality Sensors that will improve the image quality. Most probably the device will have a better secondary camera for FaceTime HD.
Moving on to Galaxy SIII, it features a 12-MP Camera accompanying Autofocus, LED Flash, TouchFocus , geo-tagging, face detection, smile detection and image stabilisation. It captures HD videos at 1080p and awesome pictures. It will also have 2 MP secondary camera.

Overall :

Overall the new release of Samsung is going ahead of the iPhone 5 if the information until now is to be believed but it will interesting to see what Apple comes with to stop the migration of it’s customers. Will Galaxy SIII be iPhone Killer or the Apple overtakes it ????
apple iphone 5   price and release date
We can expect the announcement of the iPhone 5 later this year, possibly at the 2012 edition of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is likely to take place in June 2012. The Apple iPhone 5 release date would then be set for a few months later.
At this stage no official price has been unveiled but we expect the iPhone 5 to be the same price than the iPhone 4S when it was released.

Nokia's 41 MP

Nokia Shocks Up The World By 41 MP Camera Phone

Previous year was not that good for Nokia, as they lost quite a shares and international market reputation, moreover company suffered a huge loss but there was a hope in them on which they announced that the coming year would be of Nokia. So by now its the 2nd month of the year and yes they have shocked the world by something you would definitely believe hardly.
So the company unveiled their new phone named Nokia 808 PureView which is 41 MegaPixel! Now after dropping your jaws rub your eyes again to see that yes it is 41 MP phone. How they people did that fantastic job on putting up a 41 MP camera in a smartphone is admirable. You might be disappointed on the same time by learning that yes they have put this phone with Symbian OS but according to them this might be the one of their last Symbian phones. So this makes sense that before leaving their beloved OS they wanted to do something for it.

Talking about the camera of the phone we have collected some series of shots, and we admire by stating that this thing is way to awesome. As you require no extra ordinary photographic skills and all you get is a very good handy professional camera in your phone. The High details in pictures without any loss of clarity is an amazing work. The camera can  work perfectly in low light conditions. It has the sense and optimization of professional cameras as it blurs the back image which is not in focus just like a professional camera does. Moreover the 808 PureView records Full HD 1080p videos by using rich recording technology which can record audio upto 140 decibel and ofcourse this might be the first phone coming up with this type of technology. Even on playing back the recording you get 5.1 Dolby surround. Further the phone is of 1.3 GHz processor but sadly have 512 MB RAM, 4-inch 360 x 640 AMOLED nHD covered in a curved Gorilla glass. The internal storage of the phone would be 16 GB. Other features are NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and it is running on Symbian Belle. The phone is rumored to be coming in late May. No confirm price by the company but as told by the resources it would be near 450 to 500 pounds.
Enjoy some fascinating pictures from this phone and watch the video by interviewing Head of Imaging technologies.

iPhone 4S vs Samsung Galaxy S3

iPhone 4S vs Samsung Galaxy S3 & review roundup

Under: Phone Debates, Samsung
Date: May 10th, 2012
Everybody knows that the smartphone of the moment is the Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III) and it looks bound to be a smash hit for Samsung. Due to be released at the end of May for the UK and Europe and in the summer for the US, some of its main competition will come from Apple’s iPhone 4S. Today we want to look at the iPhone 4S vs. the Samsung Galaxy S3 and also give readers a review roundup.
The Galaxy S3 has some very decent specs and features and first impressions seemed quite impressive although since then we’ve noted a rather mixed reception. We’ll give you some idea of the key specs and features of the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S before moving on to what the reviews had to say. We’ve already given readers official specs of the Galaxy S3 but brief highlights include an Exynos quad-core processor for the international variant, with the US version possibly dual-core to enable LTE.

Other notable specs for the Galaxy S3 include a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 resolution (309ppi), 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video capture, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, NFC support and running Android 4.0 ICS skinned with TouchWiz. There’s also a 2100mAh battery, which sounds impressive but of course given the large screen and quad-core processor it has a lot to power. We can’t judge the battery performance yet though so we’ll reserve judgement on that for now. If you want to see more on the Galaxy S3 then check out the video below our story showing a hands-on look.
The Galaxy S3 certainly has a lot to recommend it then and for those who favor the Android OS this is an obvious choice of new smartphone. There are others though who would consider Apple’s iOS platform and might be thinking of the current iPhone 4S and Tech Digest has compared the two. The iPhone 4S by comparison has a 3.5-inch IPS TFT LCD display with Apple’s infamous Retina Display and resolution of 960 x 640 offering 326ppi. Both the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S have excellent displays then and your choice between the two may simply depend on screen size.
The processor for the iPhone 4S is an 800MHz dual-core A5 chip, which though it may sound dated offers speedy and smooth performance. Compared to the quad-core of the Galaxy S3 though (in some regions), some may feel this is one up to Samsung. The iPhone 4S also comes in three storage options, 16, 32 and 64GB but has no expandable memory. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording capability and a front-facing VGA camera while its lithium-ion battery offers around 8 hours of 3G talk time, 6 hours of 3G browsing and 9 hours of Wi-Fi browsing.
The iPhone 4S runs on the latest Apple iOS and as we said earlier, operation systems alone may be the main factor for some as many people have a clear preference between Android and iOS. Both platforms offer a huge variety of apps from either Apple’s App Store or the Google Play store. The iPhone 4S features the popular Siri voice recognition software and Samsung has brought its own S Voice to the Galaxy S3. Another point to remember is that The Galaxy S3 for the US will feature LTE connectivity but that doesn’t exist on the iPhone 4S (though may come to the iPhone 5).

Another thing to take into account is the design of the phones and although some people have not exactly been blown away by the look of the Galaxy S3 and it’s plasticky feel, others were not impressed when the iPhone 4S came out last year with the same design as its predecessor. We cannot compare pricing yet on these two smartphones as no pricing has been announced yet for the Galaxy S3.
Ultimately both phones are very decent smartphones indeed although some of the specs of the iPhone 4S are beginning to look a little dated. Of course we should remember though that the iPhone 5 may not be too much further away and it will be certainly be interesting to compare the Galaxy S3 and the next iPhone when it appears. For now though personal preference will play a big part in how you choose between the Galaxy S3 or the iPhone 4S.
Now we’ll move on to our look at some of the reviews so far for the Galaxy S3. Firstly PC World looks at the Galaxy S3 against the iPhone 4S and HTC One X. It points to the advantage of the microSD slot for the Galaxy S3 and its huge display and slimness at only 0.34inches compared to the iPhone 4S, which measures 0.37-inches thick. This review sums up by saying that although the camera for the Galaxy S3 isn’t a major step up, the processor and LTE connectivity more than make up for it.
Another review, this time on Wired, explains a lot about the software of the Galaxy S3 rather than hardware so this is a good review to check out if you want more on that. It delves into the facial recognition feature, Smart Stay, Direct Call, Pop Up Play and S Voice and the phone’s aesthetic touches.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/D683O1YeozY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Next we looked at a review from Computerworld, consisting of a hugely comprehensive Q & A. One of the questions asks if the Galaxy S3 is better than other phones to which the response is that there is no one ‘right’ choice and that it comes down to what the individual wants. Although the Galaxy S3 is described as a “compelling choice” it’s also stated, “There’s nothing about the Galaxy S III that makes other recent high-end devices look inherently worse or outdated in comparison.”
In our final look we came across an article on PC & Tech Authority that asks if Samsung’s innovation is outpacing Apple’s. This points to the rich catalog of Apple iOS apps and the aluminum and glass of the iPhone 4S design making it feel more “grown up” than other plastic designs. However it goes on to say that Samsung has obviously listened to its customers to come up with the intuitive experience and larger screen offered by the Galaxy S3 and refers to Apple as “caught napping.”
We’d be really interested to hear from readers with thoughts on these two flagship smartphones. Taking into account our comparison and review roundup, have you a definite preference for one over the other? Maybe you’re going to wait to see what the iPhone 5 has to offer before you decide? You may feel that the Galaxy S3 wasn’t everything it could be, or alternatively feel that Apple has indeed been ‘caught napping?’ Let us know with your comments.

India's most fuel efficient petrol car. Chale Chalo India. Feel It!
The Next Galaxy, i.e. the Samsung Galaxy S III is finally into the scene. Thousands, literally thousands of false news kept the readers busy on just dreaming about what would be possible specifications of the Galaxy S III, but the truth has come out. The Galaxy S III rocks, its truly superb and keeps everything else at bay today. And no, its not the #NextGalaxy but the Galaxy S III would be the official name of the phone.
Check how Samsung Transformed to the best every year, from the Samsung Galaxy S in 2010 to the S III this year.
Samsung Galaxy S III
Here are a few features that we have found out, as the event goes on live right now:
  • 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED Display
  • 8MP rear camera
  • 1.9MP front camera with “face recognition”
  • 2100mAh Battery
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS
S Voice for the Samsung Galaxy S III is what the Siri app for the iPhone 4S is. It recognizes your voice, listens to your command and acts the way you want it to.
Here are some of the best features of the Galaxy S III:
Smart Stay – The front camera of the phone recognizes whether you are actively looking at the phone screen and using it, and until that the screen is turned on. If the camera doesn’t detect your viewing, the screen would turn off automatically.
Samsung Galaxy S III smart stay
Direct call – This feature is helpful when you are trying to text message someone but in the end decide not to do that and call the same person. For making the call, you just need to lift the phone towards your face or ear and the call would be dialed automatically.
S Voice – We talked with a bit of over excitement here about this feature, and compared it with the Siri for iPhone but actually it isn’t. It listens to your commands, but a very few ones. Searching using the Google search, turning the camera on, calling someone, checking the weather etc. is what all is done listening to your commands.
Samsung Galaxy S III S Voice
S Beam – The Near Field Communication transfer is taken to the next level from the standard ICS based NFC that came earlier. The tapping and phone-to-phone transfer is possible in a faster and better way.
Burst Shot (Best Photo) – 20 captures in a super-fast mode, and all are displayed at once and out of them you may select the best shot and all the other are deleted. This is nothing new, as the HTC One X Camera already had a better way, capturing 99 pictures in the same burst mode.

Wireless charging is what we have heard of, but aren’t sure how it works until we directly test it out.
May 29th is the date when the Samsung Galaxy S III would be actually available in the market in the West, and in the Eastern nations like India, the market would get it for sale in June.
We are still updating.

After the break: The previous news, rumors and talk about the Galaxy S III. Whatever has just been released, is updated above.

How many of you have already bought a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 mobile phone and are confused on should to upgrade to S2 or wait for something better? Here is a good news for all of you because Samsung’s mobile division president has hinted that the Galaxy S3 is soon going to be launched with some awesome configuration. In an age where Samsung has ruled the Android Market with its “Galaxy” Series signature after the hit and hot selling success of Galaxy S as well as Galaxy S2 phone, time has now come to speculate about the Samsung Galaxy S3 handset which is already in the making for making itself available in the year 2012.
First of all Samsung is trying to beat all the Apple Records in terms of sales and the Galaxy S2 has helped them in doing the best by bringing Samsung into Number #2 top mobiles selling company. If you are already having a pretty good mobile which you are not yet planning to sell away or upgrade then its suggested to wait for around a years time for the Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy 3D models. While the lawyers of both Samsung and Apple are busy in fighting it out for the supremacy in the technology space, the Engineering units of both are busy in creating an unforgettable and powerful smart phone with iPhone5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.
Samsung Galaxy S3
We have very less details on this handset as of now but Apple would of course get the first preview because of the ongoing legal battle between both the companies and we should expect some actual snaps of the phone by this year end. It is being speculated that the model number for the Samsung Galaxy s3 will be GT I9300.
Going with the specifications its expected to obviously be an upgrade of the Galaxy S2 with the Camera being 12Mp, quad-core processor, a super-bright AMOLED 3D screen with NFC, 4G Supported device etc. to name a few.  Especially when the HTC One X, Ascend P1 D and Meizu Mx Quad Core phones are out, it will be have to be atleast 1.5 Ghz quad core processor Samsung Exynos CPU. Also its expected that this would be the first phone which would feature the Ice Cream Sandwich. Also the screen size should be around 4.5″ which beats the LG Optimus 3D and also offer you with 4G connectivity support. Lets wait and watch how all this goes and when the phone would be actually be available to you and then you can decide if its worth upgrading your current phone or not. It is also said that this phone will be launched in the first half of FY’12. So, just in case if you have not purchased the last phone from the Samsung which is the Samsung Galaxy S2 then its probably just time to wait as you can buy an all new and probably the World’s best would be smart phone, the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Undoubtedly, Samsung is betting very big on this handset as its in no mood to disclose things about this Samsung Galaxy S3 anything Officially. This smart phone is going to be the World’s slimmest smart phone ever which was disclosed by our close source from Samsung. Another most important feature which is speculated is that it will be having the lowest SAR value which is basically the radiation emitted by the phone. With rising health concerns around the Globe and people’s preference on talking on the phone more than meeting personally, its very important ensure that you have a smart phone which has the lowest SAR Level. With higher SAR levels, the phone tends to get heated up which can in turn damage the brain. Considering the fact that by 2012, the 4G will turn into reality and almost maximum countries will be witnessing the 4G, this support also looks possible. So, in all if you have a look at some of the core features or say USPs then these will be 12MP camera with probably CMOS Sensor with it.
The below picture was recently popped up on the web claiming that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be launched world wide in May 2012. Hope these rumors are true and we really get a chance to see this device.
Samsung Galaxy S III Android Phone
Highlight Features of Samsung Galaxy S3:
  • NFC (Near Field Communication) Chip,
  • 3rd generation Super AMOLED 3D Screen,
  • Ultra Low SAR Levels,
  • Blazing fast Speeds with Quad Core Processor,
  • Probable 4G Supported Phone,
  • Slimmest Smart Phone ever
Am sure after reading this whole article you might just still want to know on by when this phone will be launching, for which we just can say one thing, stay tuned to Androidadvices.com as we will be updating this article as in when we get any inputs from our sources at SAMSUNG etc. We still haven’t added any concept photos of Samsung Galaxy S3 as of now  in this article, but as soon as we get any we will surely update this article with the same.
Galaxy S III would be priced at Rs 43,180 as the MRP price on the box and to get discount in the form of assured gift worth Rs 1500. You can purchase this handset at Samsung India eStore online.
